Davisberg Wetland Fall Colors

This is an oil painting of a quaint little wetland that is located just off the side of the road out in Davisberg Michigan.  It is so small, that if you sneezed while you were driving by it, you might miss it completely. The sediment in the bottom of the pond is very rich and a jet black color. This is why the waters reflection is such a dark shade of blue.

The rich full fall colors are doubled in the reflection of the cool dark blue hue of the water.
