A Fostoria Field

This is a painting I did while visiting a friend that lives in Fostoria Michigan.  This landscape painting was created when the field grasses were long and green and would bend with every gentle breeze of the wind.  I was inspired by the energies of nature in full bloom to capture this moment in time and paint it on canvas.

This is a plein aire painting that I had great fun creating while sitting on my friend Reed's back porch. Reed lives in farm country and has open spaces and fields in almost every direction you look in.
