Lapeer Tree Line

This is an impressionistic oil painting that I did from a picture I took during the fall color season in Lapeer Michigan. Most of the trees on the tree line are Oak trees.

I was on my way up North to visit a good friend and noticed the great fall colors. I stopped at this little park and took many pictures of the surrounding area. This oil painting was completed from one of the pictures that I liked the best.

It is a small painting that is very rich and vibrant in fall colors. The water was very calm and allowed for an almost mirror effect of the reflection in the water.
