White Rock Outcrop

This is an impressionistic waterscape oil painting of a distant white rock outcropping. I created it from a picture that I found in one of my friends magazines.

I really liked to subject content, but it was more the linier composition that drew me to it. The lines of liner prospective travel toward the white rock outcrop and draw your eye to it.

I have no idea where this picture was taken or who photographed it, but I really liked it so I created this impressionistic oil painting of it.
