This is a charcoal drawing on toothed charcoal paper of an Oakland Community College model. Her name is Maureen. She has a small frame and near perfect proportions. She knew I could capture her facial likeness and asked me not to do so. Some of our models are everyday people and not professionals. Sometimes they do not want to be recognized by the general public. I skipped putting in facial details as a professional courtesy to her.
Drawing a composition of a complete human anatomy can sometimes be somewhat challenging. If you only have a three hour class to do so, you can't possibly draw everything in the allotted amount of time. You will have to pick and choose what you would like to put in your composition that you find the most interesting.
I only had about 1 1/2 hours out of a three hour class to complete the project and decided to work on over-all composition.
All of the drawings of hands below are class assigned projects that I had to do while I attended Oakland Community College. All hand drawings were done sometime back in the 90"s.
