Several of my instructors gave us assignments to draw hands, so I have a good variety of hands in my portfolio.  It was a fun assignment for me.

This is a charcoal drawing of a hand in the closed fist position. It is just a drawing class assignment and not a suggestion or statement about power or an agenda.  It is about the study of human anatomy and the ability of the artist to accurately convey on paper using charcoal pencils what they see.
