This is a painting of a golf course that I did many years ago. The medium is watercolor paints on watercolor paper. I created this watercolor painting from a picture I saw in a golf magazine.
I just loved the composition, structure and balance of this landscape so I decided to paint it in watercolors. I am glad I did because it turned out so well. I especially liked the shadows running across the fairway. The shadows suggest a time of day as well as a nuance of light.
If you know the name of this golf course, then send me an email so that I can put a little bit more information about this golf course on this page. Thanks mrose1104@msn.com
A matt can make a difference in the presentation of an art work. One rule of thumb is to keep the matt color analogous with your work of art and also with the room that you are putting your art work in.
