This is a painting that I created from a photograph that I took during one of those years when the fall colors were really popping. The colors were so vivid and rich that I had to do an oil painting of this waterscape.

I have camped at the Holly Recreation Camp Grounds and have visited the park on many occasions in the fall to take pictures of the beautiful fall colors.  They have a campground, picnic areas, baseball field, scenic drive with lookouts, swimming beach and several lakes to go fishing on.

This is one of my favorite oil paintings to just sit back and stare at. I often feel as thought I am there on location re-expirencing the gorgeous breath-taking beauty of the fall colors on the tree line.
