This is one of my early watercolor paintings that I painted before I took classes at OCC. I could not afford to pay the hourly price of a model so I created this watercolor from a picture that I cut out of a magazine. The flesh-tones were too perfect and I suspect that the image was also air-brushed also.
This painting was great practice for me and also encouraged me to continue to move forward and take some of the art classes that I later attended. This soft supple flesh tones are one of the most successful elements in this watercolor painting.
