This is an impressionistic oil painting of a tributary of the Clinton River that enters into Cass Lake.

This painting was created from a picture that I took using my 35 mm film camera.  After I had the film developed and viewed the results, I choose this scene for my canvas. This little stream flows under the bridge on Cooley Lake Road and into Cass Lake in Waterford Township.

 It is very enjoyable just to sit on the shoreline and listen to the sound of the the movement of the water as it flows by.  The water makes a tranquil rippling water sound as it travels downstream.
