This was one of my Oakland Community College class assignments. This is a drawing of my hand in a closed fist position.  The drawing was done using a variety of charcoal stumps and pencils on drawing paper.  I used a small hooded lamp for a directional light source to create good shadows to draw.  I am not sure how long it took me to complete the project, but my best guess would be 1/2 hour to an hour maybe.
